Our Vision

Jesus tells us in John 4:23-24
"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.  God is Spirit and His worshipers must worship in spirit and truth."

and in Mark 12:30
'And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This [is] the first commandment.

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

Therefore in obedience to God we emphasize a balanced approach to worship through inspired, spiritual songs, careful study of scripture and devotion to prayer.

Our music is contemporary yet we enjoy traditional hymns as well.

Matthew 18:11-13  "For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.   What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?   And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that [sheep] than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray."

We have a burden for the lost.  After all, we too were once lost.  Our desire is to train-up our members to share the Good News in word and deed and to be tools in the hand of Our Master as He draws men and women to His Kingdom.

2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

James 1:21-22 "Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.   But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."

It is the job of the church to feed the sheep.  Healthy sheep beget more healthy sheep.  We use expositional teaching, verse by verse, line upon line, precept upon precept, in order that we might proclaim the whole cousel of God to all, for it is the power of His word working in you and through you to transform and prepare you for service to Him.

Isaiah 52:77 "How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, 'Your God reigns!'"

Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

2 Timothy 2:2 "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others."

We are all called to share our faith in Jesus Christ, but we recognize that God empowers and enables some to take the Gospel beyond the borders of our fellowship.  We support, acknowledge and encourage God's calling on their lives to carry forth the great commission.
